A favorite fall destination, McDonald’s Greenhouse and Corn Maze opened their petting zoo for three days to allow children to spend time with baby animals in the first-ever Spring Cuddle Days event.
A small donation was requested with proceeds going to Homeless Hands of Zanesville.
“Thanks to your attendance and support, we will be able to donate well over $2,000 to the Homeless Hands of Zanesville, LLC.,” said Susan McDonald on the McDonald’s Greenhouse and Corn Maze Facebook page after the event.
Children were able to hold baby chicks and bunnies, feed and pet lambs and baby goats, and visit with turkeys. Families had many good photo opportunities. Hot and freshly made donuts were available to purchase and kids could play on the large jumping pillow.
If you missed out on Spring Cuddle Days you can take advantage of a one-on-one “Farm Chore Experience” which can be scheduled by appointment. Call 740-819-5814 or visit www.mcdonaldsgreenhouse.com for information.
Besides special events like these, the McDonalds open their greenhouse every spring and then again in the fall. Their fall activities like a corn maze, wagon rides, petting zoo, along with other family activities make them one of the area’s go-to attractions every fall.
McDonald’s Green House and Corn Maze will open for the spring season on April 24th. They are located on State Route 93, just 2.5 miles north of the Adamsville exit #157, at 3220 Adamsville Rd., Zanesville.
