Joseph Eckelberry, a senior wrestler at Tri-Valley High School has had quite the year. With 173 career wins and 126 career pins ranking him #9 in OHSAA history for career pins he has been a huge asset to the TV wrestling squad. Ekelberry has had an outstanding season this year as well with 41 wins (89.1%), 31 pins, and has had the first takedown in a math 33 times. He gained his 4th varsity letter for wrestling this year, is an MVL Champion as well as the MVL Co-MVP for the season. On Thursday, April 29th, surrounded by fellow wrestlers and family, Joseph signed his national letter of intent to continue his wrestling and academic career at Ashland University, and to become a part of the All-American Ashland Eagles who finished 7th at Nationals this year.
