Tri-Valley LEO Club Volunteer to Make Blankets for Appletree Residents

The LEOs often volunteer their time to help the assisted living residents at Appletree Homes. The creation of 15 blankets was their most recent project. Although the group typically visits with the residents, they have been unable to since the start of the Pandemic. The blankets were crafted at the school and will be delivered to the facility.

The LEO Club is a Middle School Club for Tri-Valley and are among the youngest members of the Lions Clubs International. Their motto, “Where there’s a need, there’s a LEO, sums up perfectly what the group is about. In addition to spending time with the residents at Appletree, the LEOs have also been present and ready to help at various community functions and projects.

Later this month the club will be planting new annuals in the 16 planters along Main Street in Dresden.
