The Zane State College Foundation offers more than 100 scholarships for students who enroll at Zane State College (ZSC), and the deadline to apply was extended to June 1, 2021. Students may apply at www.zanestate.edu/scholarships for Academic Award and Foundation Scholarships. Recipients will receive official notification of scholarship awards in late June or early July.
Academic Award Scholarships
Awarded to graduating high school seniors with an ACT composite score of 21 or higher AND a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA. This half-tuition scholarship is awarded for three consecutive semesters and can be used in addition to grants and community scholarships. Students must enroll the same calendar year as graduation.
Foundation Scholarships
Awarded to students of all ages with a 2.75 or higher GPA. Foundation awards vary from student to student and range from $250 to full tuition. The award amount is based on a multitude of factors including GPA, program, volunteer experience, and financial need.
Ben Welker Sportsmanship and Community Service Scholarship
Zane State College will award up to $14,000 in scholarships to local high school graduates who demonstrate excellent sportsmanship and community service.
