Jeannine Denman, 87, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Friday morning, May 28, 2021 at AlterCare Nursing Home of Zanesville.
Born November 3, 1933 in Perryton, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Ralph J. and Anna “Pauline” McKnight Martin and was a 1951 graduate of Union High School. She was a former member of the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church and, having lived for many years in Florida, she was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Auburndale, Florida. Jeannine loved traveling and she and her late husband traveled across the United States and many other countries of the world. She also enjoyed crocheting, roller skating and have big family gatherings.
Surviving are three sons, Ralph O. Denman of Walhonding, Ohio, Wesley D. (Debbie) Denman of Nashport, Ohio and Kyle E. (Teresa) Denman of Lake Charles, Louisiana; two daughters, Lucia J. Lauvray of Dresden and Wendy C. (Dave) Prouty of Frazeysburg; nine grandchildren, Mandy, Eric, Heath, Joshua, Brian, Caleb, Todd, Shane and Kyle and nineteen great grandchildren, Addylynn, Riley, Brianna, Marissa, Luke, Conner, Grant, Claire, Easton, Kayden, Gabriel, Lucy, Wynonna, Laynee, Griffin, Lincoln, Waylon, Beckytt and Leonna. Also surviving are four sisters, Marlene Riley of Joplin, Missouri, Nancy (John) Delancey of St. Louisville, Ohio, Linda (Ronzal) King of Frazeysburg and Alice (Don) Moore of Newark, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, H. Orman Denman whom she married September 23, 1951, and who died December 3, 2000 and a son in-law, Steven Lauvray who died November 14, 2004.
Calling hours were from 11am to 1pm Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services were at 1:00pm Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the funeral home with Minister Sam Dunn officiating. Jeannie will be laid to rest beside her loving husband in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
