On Sunday, May 23rd, 28 teams gathered at the Vista View Golf Course in Nashport to participate in the Tri-Valley Touchdown Club’s annual golf outing to support the TV Football program.
With lots of smiles and beautiful weather the outing was a huge success with players and supporters from all over the community coming together to make this day possible.
Out of the teams participating Kevin Dupler’s team won first place shooting a 57 and won $500 but donated a portion of the winnings back to the program. Mattie Lynn’s team won second place shooting a 58 for a $250 prize. Ryan Smith’s team won third place shooting a 59 and took home $150.
Closest to the pin on hole #7 was won by JJ Burns and closest to the pin on hole #18 was Nate Duff. Kevin Dupler’s team won 2 skins with a 3 on hole 3 and a 3 on hole 8. Mattie Lynn’s team won skins with a 2 on hole 7. Lynn donated the winnings of the skins back to the program.
Marc Hadley won Longest Putt on hole 2 and Kevin Dupler won Longest Drive on hole 12. Kent Burkhart won the 50/50 raffle and donated his winnings back to the program.
Kendrick Excavating, Bogey’s Tavern, Brightview Enterprise Solutions, Licking Memorial Hospital, Hazen Services, and The Mill in Dresden were all $250 sponsors. Shirer Meats donated the hot dogs for the outing and the meal was provided by Bill’s BBQ.
