The 2021 Adamsville Homecoming runs from Wednesday, July 21 to Saturday, July 24.
The theme is “Blue Jeans Country Dreams”.
This year’s Grand Marshals are Tony and Wanda Green. Tony and Wanda have been married and living in Adamsville for 50 years. Wanda is the daughter of the former Margaret and Willard Crozier of Dresden, Ohio. Tony’s parents were Gertrude and Raymond Green of Adamsville. “We have had a wonderful life in Adamsville with so many friends. It is a friendly and caring community where you know all your neighbors,” stated Wanda. Tony and Wanda have two daughters, Marcia Brown of Adamsville and Michele Summers of Dresden, Ohio. They have five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The couple is active in the community as members of town council and Community Building Board. They are members of Fairview Community Church.
Co-Queen, Sadie Green is the daughter of Skip and Debbie Green. She Graduated from Tri-Valley High School with the class of 2021. She played softball all four years of high school and played baseball the first two years. She was a member of Adamsville Mixed Clover Leaf 4-H Club for three years. She is being escorted by Steve and Char Price. Sadie’s flower girl is Kendal Spiker and her crown bearer is Hudson Blodgett.
Samantha Cross is the Daughter of Jim and Jill Cross. She is a 2021 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and she is a Sophomore at Zane State College. Samantha is a member of the Country Cousins 4-H Club and has taken Dairy, Beef, and Pygmy Goats. She has also danced with Dance Express since she was two and has been a member of the competition team for many years. Samantha is being escorted by Ian Awalt and driven by Twin Pine Carpentry. Her crown bearer and flower girl are Elliott and Eliza Hayes the son and daughter of Adam and Carlie Hayes of Zanesville.
