Despite rain showers and storms the turnout for the 2021 Dresden Homecoming was phenomenal.
The four-day event began with the popular Grande Parade on Wednesday, July 7 followed by the introduction of Grand Marshals; Scott and Heather Lawler, Queen; Amanda Druckenbrodt, Sophomore Attendant; Rochelle Squire, Freshman Attendants; Alyssa Hay and Charity Clark, and Crown Bearer; Brynlee Searls.
Crowd favorite activities like bingo and nightly drawings were back as well as rides and games for the kids. All the normal fare was present including plenty of delicious food and a variety of entertainment provided by MM Dance Group, Derek Posey Band, Fire Dancers, Crimson Wavelength, Square Dancing, Frosty Morning, Bryan Lewis, and Phil Dirt and the Dozers.
Planning is already underway for the 2022 Homecoming which will take place from Wednesday, July 6 to Saturday, July 9.
