Band Director Amanda Blevins and Drill Writer Karen Hand worked with Tri-Valley Marching Band students during this summer’s Band Camp. The band has been working hard during their week-long camp to learn the songs and routine for this year’s show titled “Play Your Own Story”. The camp ran from July 25th to the 30th where the Marching Scotties took what they have learned to Jack Anderson Stadium for a preview performance at 12:30 pm. The community was invited to attend to see what the band has been working on. This year the band performed locally at the 2021 Dresden Melon Festival on August 7 at 9 am, and will perform at the Muskingum County Fair on August 17 at 4:45 pm, during all TV varsity football games, as well as at the Tri-Valley Classic on October 23. They will also be competing in competitions this fall and hope to earn a spot again at the State Competitions for the 39th consecutive year.
