With Coach Emily Reilly leading the girls for her 16th season, the girls have been practicing and scrimmaging other teams as they ramp up for this season’s opening game Monday, August 23rd against Morgan High school’s Lady Raiders.
The girls have been working hard on communication, and agility with some strong showings in the scrimmages that they have played so far. With only one senior on the field this year, the Lady Dawgs are in somewhat of the same situation as the boys team with a fairly young team but they still have a number of starters that have been fighting their way up the ranks in order to lead the varsity team.
No matter what the season brings the girls look like they are ready to take it on, and put on a good show for the fans as they push their way toward an MVL championship!
