Tri-Valley Boys Varsity Soccer Starting Their Season Up With New Coach At The Helm

This year has some changes in store for the Scotties soccer team, aside from being a fairly young team after losing a number of senior players from last year’s roster, they are being led this year by head coach Keith Loughlin from the Newark area.

This season, the Scotties will not have a junior varsity roster due to a lack of players. Instead, they will focus on strengthening their varsity team and starting fresh from the ground up with new leadership. Coach Loughlin comes to the Tri-Valley team after being the Executive Director and Xtabi Director for Newark Area Soccer Association which is a 501c3 charitable youth educational association established in 1991. Coach Loughlin has been with the group since they started, prior to working with NASA Loughlin studied under Coach Carlos Alberto Parreira and Sau Paulo FC, and was the Denison University Women’s Head Coach and Men’s Assistant Coach. With many accolades under his belt, it will be interesting to see how the Scotties team evolves during his tenure.
