Frazeysburg Lions News – August and September 2021

The club has been busy since the beginning of the Lions Year 2021 – 2022. They held the annual family picnic with the new officers taking place.

President Jeff Garver, 1st Vice President Kent Shay 2nd Vice President Diana Wolford, 3rd Vice President Christine Wolford, Secretary/Treasurer Dan Osborn, Lion Tanner Bob Hindel, Tail Twister Earl Paazig and Membership Chairman Charlotte Jenkins.

The Lions Club donated to the Tri-Valley High School Football support group for the Lions logo sign on the field fence.

Five members attended the OH-7 Zone 3 meeting held by Duncan Fall/ Philo Club. The clubs in Muskingum County reported from February 2021 to current their projects and upcoming events. The past governor Ollie Paxton Tipple passed out her awards to the clubs for July 2020 to June 2021.

At the first meeting in September, President Jeff Garver passed out the club awards that the club received. 100% President to Kathy Moran, 100% Secretary / Treasurer to Dan Osborn, 30-year member to Jeff Garver, and 20-year member to Charlotte Jenkins. Becky Vansickle received the Tri-Valley Middle School Leo Club award. Michele Thatcher was inducted into the club as a new member.

On September 6th the Lions Club held the 27th Car Show with 74 cars on display. The Lions sold dessert and the FRA sold food. Chairman Kathy Moran chaired the 2nd annual Mum Sale that sold over 200 mums.
