Genesis HealthCare System is providing walk-in clinics for community members who have urgent or primary care needs, including those who have mild COVID-19 symptoms. Patients can be seen at two locations during the days and times below without making an appointment:
FirstCare North, 2800 Maple Ave., Zanesville
• Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Genesis Primary Care,
1210 Ashland Ave.,
Zanesville (X-ray not available)
• Monday through Friday, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon
Community members are encouraged to go to either of these walk-in clinics for urgent or primary care needs instead of going to the Genesis Emergency Departments (ED). The EDs at Genesis Hospital and the Genesis Perry County Medical Center are experiencing a high volume of patients due to the increased prevalence of COVID-19 in our communities. Visiting the walk-in clinics when appropriate will help to alleviate the strain on the EDs. For a life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1.
Patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 and have health concerns can be seen at the Genesis COVID-19 Positive Clinic. Appointments for this clinic are required by calling 740-297-8612. The COVID-19 Positive Clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Patients who have sprains, strains or other minor orthopedic injuries can visit the Genesis Orthopedic Walk-in Clinic without an appointment. It is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and it is located at 950 Bethesda Drive, Building 5, Zanesville.
