Our dedicated and hard-working Tri-Valley Marching Scotties have done it again! The band qualified for state at all competitions for the season thus far, scoring superior ratings at all three!
During the first competition on September 25 in Zanesville, the band scored second place overall and first place in Class A, percussion and auxiliary.
On October 2 the band returned home from a double competition day with more hardware. The first competition was at Watkins Memorial where the band scored Best Color Guard and Percussion in Class A. The band earned second in their class. The color guard placed second overall, just missing first by two points. At Licking Valley, the second competition on Saturday, the band earned Best Color Guard and Percussion in Class A, and the band placed first in Class A as well. Overall, the band placed third out of 16 competing bands. The color guard was third overall by four points.
The Marching Scotties are preparing to compete again on Saturday, October 16, and then will host the TV Classic on October 23 where they will also perform.
