Mary Jane Nelson, 78, of Dresden, died Wednesday afternoon, November 3, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Born September 2, 1943 in Zanesville, she was daughter of the late Rodney and Betty Jane (Wiles) King and a 1962 graduate of Jefferson High School. Mary was former owner of the Adams Home in Dresden and a Methodist by faith. She loved traveling, camping and visiting Yellowstone National Park and Palm Springs, California.
Surviving are her two grandchildren, Mack C. Ferrell and Janelle Ferrell both of Canal Fulton; great grandson, Kingston Arndt; two brothers, Bill King of Dresden and T. Alyn King of Palm Springs, CA; a son-in-law, Chuck Ferrell Jr. of Canal Futon; five nieces and nephews, Kevin King, Greg King, Kelly Mallett, Kyle King and Tyler King and a great niece, Claira King.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lorie J. Ferrell.
No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute, 714 Main Street.
