Debbie Lynn Brailer, 62, of Nashport, Ohio died peacefully Tuesday morning November 9, 2021 at her home while holding her husband’s hand and after many years of fighting cancer.
Born September 10, 1959 in Zanesville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Robert and Lela (Harper) Slater. From the age of two she was raised by her foster parents, the late Merl and Marilyn Yingling of Frazeysburg and she attended Tri-Valley schools. Debbie was Catholic by faith. She enjoyed seasonal work at Harry and David’s of Hebron, Ohio. She also enjoyed going to yard sales in the summer, but she especially lover visiting with her family and friends all year long.
Surviving is her husband of 35 years, Ronald W. Brailer whom she married June 29, 1986; her sons, Jason, Jeremy and Chad; her grandchildren, Kaylin, Lexi, Heaven, Kylen, Gavin and Elliott; her great grandchildren, Zayne and Ryland; her sisters, Norma, Nancy and Diane; her Aunt Sara and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and let’s not forget, her loving dog, “Shaggy”.
In addition to her parents and foster parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby and Ralph “Butch” Collins.
As per Debbie’s wish, there will be no calling hours and a cremation will take place.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date and family and friends are welcome to attend.
