Tri-Valley Wrestling team is having a good season this year as they have taken on some pretty challenging competitors. On January 25th, Tri-Valley High School held a ceremony to honor their senior athletes Isaiah Armstrong, Coleson McCullough, Ethan Paladino, and Nathan Russell for their achievements throughout their high school and Scottie Wrestling careers.
One of the main highlights of the ceremony was the celebration of Isaiah Armstrong’s 100th career win as a Scottie wrestler.
Isaiah Armstrong has 106 career wins and was 26-4 on the season as of the time of the ceremony. He is a 2-time district placer and was runner-up at the North Coast Classic, Champion at the Coshocton Classic, and placed at the GMVWA tournament and the Josh Hephner Memorial Tournament this season. Isaiah is a student at Mid-East Career and Technology Centers where he studies welding. In the future, Isaiah plans to pursue a career in pipeline welding.
Ethan Paladino is a returning letterwinner for the Scotties and a two-time letterwinner in football. He has a 36-19 lifetime record and is 18 – 7 for the season. Ethan placed at the North Coast Classic, GMVWA tournament, and was Champion at the Coshocton Classic this season. Ethan has already enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.
Nathan Russell is in his first season as a Scottie wrestler and has two varsity wins on the season. He attends Mid East Career and Technology Centers where he is gaining his HVAC certification.
Coleson McCullough is a two-time letterwinner in wrestling and football for the Scotties. He has 27 career wins and 11 this season. This season he placed at the Coshocton Classic. Coleson is already enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.
