Since early in the pandemic, Rochelle’s Barbershop has had to postpone the option of taking walk-in traffic, leaving a need for the convenience of popping in for a haircut. At the behest of Rochelle, friend and area local Jesica Holland changed career paths and went back to school to become a barber, and started working at Rochelle’s Barber Shop back in January. Jesica is in the shop Tuesdays through Saturdays during normal business hours and specializes in kids cuts and mullets.
Jesica moved to the area with her husband and daughter ten years ago. Unfortunately, Jesica lost her husband to a heart attack three years ago which left her questioning her career choices. Jesica has degrees in both business and Oil and Gas Engineering, but as a people person those career paths were not getting her the interaction with people that she was looking for, so Rochelle told her that she needed to be a barber. If you are looking to get your hair cut be sure to stop by to see Jesica at Rochelle’s Barber Shop.
