The Inn at Dresden now offers the availability of its incomparable deck for parties and all celebrations. While in the past, the deck can only be used by the guests staying at the Inn, that is no longer a requirement for rental of the deck.
The two-level deck or pavilion was built by Dave Longaberger as the place to host parties for his guests and staff. As with everything else he did, Dave spared no expense. The rustic deck is a handsome venue –open on all sides to beautiful views and weather while being roofed to protect from rain. There is a spacious bar, restrooms for men and women and electricity. The 10,000 square foot deck can accommodate up to 200-350 guests; reaching over the wooded hillside will make a grander statement and perfect for entertainment area, reunions, family gatherings and graduation parties.
All rates are rental fees for the space only. Catering, music, refreshments, decorating, parking directions, control, cleaning, and all other expenses are the renter’s responsibility but referrals for all can be provided.
Past events have been catered by the locals, The Warehouse, Bill’s BBQ, Dave’s Grillin’ Barbecue, and other private caterers.
Music has been provided by DJs, a guitarist, small groups, and full sized bands
We feature local musician , David Schubach, band leader/pianist, who has many ensembles to entertain you, from a jazz trio, an 8-piece pop/rock band, to a full 17-piece swing band.
Weddings, Family Reunions, Graduations, Class Reunions, Birthdays and all other private events are now welcome. Come and celebrate the full “value of JOY” here at The Inn at Dresden.
