The annual Adamsville Homecoming will run from Wednesday, July 20th through Saturday, July 23. This year’s theme is “Circus”. Pre-sales for wristbands for the rides are $12 and are available for purchase at Bakers store until July 19th. Wristbands will also be available at the gate for $15.
This year’s Adamsville Homecoming Queen is Mackenzie Schultz. Mackenzie is the daughter of Craig and Heather Schultz. Mackenzie went to Tri-Valley and also attended Mid-East Career Center. Throughout high school she was involved in a few clubs, one being FCCLA in which she was the President. Mackenzie will be attending Muskingum University in the fall for Nursing. She will be escorted by Kyler Channel.
Attendant, Kortney LeMaster of Adamsville is the daughter of Brian and Connie LeMaster. Kortney graduated from Tri-Valley High School. She was Field Commander for the high school marching band for two years and Secretary and Vice President for FFA. Kortney volunteers with the Adamsville Fire Department. She will be attending OUZ this fall, and next year attending OSU ATI to become an Agricultural Educator. Her escort is Colt Burkey.
Crown Bearer, Thea Hatfield is the daughter of Katie Hatfield. She will be starting school this year and wants to be the best baker and artist when she grows up.

The 2022 Adamsville Homecoming Grand Marshals are Duane and Joyce Watson. Duane and Joyce were both born and raised in the Adamsville area. Duane is the son of Clyde and Nettie Grace Watson. Joyce is the daughter of Clem and Zella Kreis. They were married nearly 49 years ago on October 21, 1973 at New Hope Church. They have lived on Joyce’s family farm for the past 30 years. Duane was employed at Ross Equipment in Cambridge for 32 years. He has been an independent farm equipment mechanic for the past 19 years. Joyce was employed at Essex for 29 years before she began her current job at Orme Hardware in New Concord 11 years ago. She also works at Rogers Auction Barn. Duane and Joyce both have donated many years of service to the Adamsville Progressive Council. Duane served as President for 20 years and has assisted with tractor pulling. Joyce continues to help with raffle wagon and can be found many late nights working up dishes in the kitchen at the Homecoming. Duane served 23 years on the Adamsville Fire Department. Joyce served 10 years as a 4-H Advisor for Captain Clover 4-H Club. When they do manage to find time to spend together, they enjoy going to tractor pulls.
