Dresden Dorados Show Up Granville And Johnstown In Tri-Meet

In a large meet against the Granville Stingrays and Johnstown Jaguars, the Dresden Dorados showed that they were a force to be reckoned with taking three-quarters of the overall points for the event in a huge win on Wednesday, July 13th at the Dresden Swim Center.

The night started off with a second place landing by the dorados in the girls 8 and under 100-yard medley relay with a team of Ruby McCoy, Madison Dougherty, Aspen Wagner, and Melody Rule with a time of 1:55.28 only missing the first place spot by three-tenths of a second.

For the Dorados the boys team had a total of 30 wins in both relays and individual events as well as 44 top three podium placements beside firsts.

The girls team also brought in an impressive 23 wins and 42 other top 3 placements.

All told the Dorados brought in a total of 843 points out of the meets total of 1255, handily topping both the Granville Stingrays with 109 points and the Johnstown Jaguars with 303 points.

The Dorados are going to be in the TCAL Championships on Wednesday, July 20th at the Dresden Swim Center. The meet will start at 7:45am and warm-ups will begin at 6:30am.
