The family of David Lacy would like to express our sincere gratitude, thanks, and appreciation to everyone in Dresden and beyond. Your outpouring of support and caring helped us and David through this difficult time. Many of the cards you sent for his 70th birthday made him smile again. The village, and his many friends outside the village, came together and truly showed him how much he was appreciated. The funeral procession and the ceremony were very beautiful and would have made him proud. His fellow firefighters came from all over the state to pay their respects and show our family caring support and for this, we are very grateful. We would also like to thank everyone who made donations to the fire department in David’s memory. We’re certain they will buy something for the community or equipment to keep the department members safe which was of utmost importance to David. Again, we would like to thank everyone for their many prayers, cards, donations, and visits.
