Genesis HealthCare System Receives Awards

Named Winners in Two National Marketing Competitions

Zanesville, Ohio – Genesis HealthCare System received 10 awards in national marketing competitions. Genesis earned nine awards in the 39th Annual Advertising Awards competition by Healthcare Marketing Report. The categories were podcasts, publication/external, physician referral, special event materials, blog sites, brochures and newsletters. Additionally, awards were given in two special video categories: video production under two minutes and video production over two minutes.

The Marketing & Public Relations department received three Gold awards for Genesis LiveWell fall magazine, Sounds of Good Health Podcast and the Genesis Infectious Diseases Specialists physician referral marketing card. Three Silver awards were given for the Genesis Wellness Blog, Genesis Cancer Care brochure and the video post for the Celebrate Life Cruise-in. Also earning Silver awards were two Spirit of Women virtual events: “Digest This” and “Hands Down.” The Genesis employee newsletter, Connections, earned a merit award. A national panel of industry specialists reviewed over 4,400 entries, recognizing outstanding healthcare professionals for excellence and creative inspiration in marketing and advertising for 39 years.

Genesis also received a Bronze award from The Aster Awards, the nation’s most elite competition dedicated to recognizing the most talented healthcare marketing professionals. The award was earned for excellence in advertising, marketing and communications for the Genesis Orthopedic Hand Surgery Campaign, selected from over 25,000 entries.
