A 75th Anniversary Celebration took place on August 17, 2022, at the Dresden Church of the Nazarene (Dresden Naz). Members, previous pastors, and the current pastor gathered for fellowship, a meal, and a special anniversary service.
There was much to celebrate with 75 years of serving the community. Distributing school supplies to kids in need annually, handing out hot chocolate and refreshments during the village’s trick-or-treat each year, and implementing a Blessing Box that stands in front of the church and is stocked with food and necessities are just a few of the Dresden Naz. community outreach projects that come to mind.
Ryan Byers became the pastor for the Dresden Naz in the fall of 2020. Over the past two years, many improvements have taken place at the church including but not limited to replacing the pews with new seating, a new logo and signage, and of course the Blessings Box.
The community is invited to attend the Dresden Church of the Nazarene Sunday morning service which takes place at 10:30 a.m. There are also fellowship events that take place monthly including a Movie Night, Men’s Prayer Breakfast, and the Women’s Gathering. Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m. and Bible Study is every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
