At home on Tuesday, September 13th, the boys met up with visiting New Lexington High School. This time the Panthers were the ones on the defense as the Scotties picked up the lead early on. Defensively, Tri-Valley kept New Lex at bay for the entire first half while they pummeled them with goal after goal, landing a whopping six points before the half-time buzzer.
The Panthers stepped up their game in the second half, fighting the Dawgs with all they had and holding the high-scoring opponents to just two points for the half. Unfortunately, they were only able to pick up one goal before time ran out and Tri-Valley grabbed a big conference win with a final score of 8 – 1.
On the road again on Saturday, September 17th the Scotties went to face the Dover Crimson Tornadoes.
Dover flipped the table on Tri-Valley all but shutting down their offense for a 7 – 1 victory.
The Dawgs wrapped up this week’s play with a visit to nearby Philo. The Electrics couldn’t hold back the Scotties as they scored repeatedly getting seven points in the first half and two points in the second half finishing the game with a 9 – 1 victory. For the game Sam Schott scored three goals, Gael Oseguara scored two, Yuvi Bastola scored two, Christopher Garbrandt scored one goal, and Gage Hindel scored one.
