41 Vehicles registered for the 2022 Truck and Motorcycle show hosted by Country Crossroads Education of Yesterday (3685 Cass Irish Ridge Road, Dresden). This show is held just about a month prior to their big event, the Education of Yesterday Farm Show. The farm show is set for October 15-16 this year.
Twelve vehicles were awarded custom-made trophies crafted by the very talented artists at Tudor Art 83. Kid’s choice went to a 1948 Chevy Tow Truck “Mater” from Disney/Pixar’s Cars owned by Terry Hutchison of Heath. Best of Show in the motorcycle category went to a 1977 Harley owned by Dan Blake of West Lafayette. For the trucks, best of show was awarded to a 1968 Ford Bronco owned by Marlin Moore of Killbuck. Awards for the top ten trucks went to Skip Miller for his Cummins 4-door truck, Ray Hill of Coshocton for his Ford F150, John Graham of Adams Mills for his 1960 Chevy Truck, Rodney Kolb of Dresden for his 1972 El Camino, Jeff Lucas of Belmont for his 2005 GMC Sierra Duramax, Rick Knight of Conesville for his 1947 Cummins Federal, Tim David Heiser of Zanesville for his International Truck, Terry Hutchison of Heath for his 1948 Chevy Tow Truck, and Dan Blake of West Lafayette for his 1942 Dodge.
“The show was well attended for only being the second year and we were pleased with the turnout. We appreciate everyone that came. Thank you to all and to all the sponsors. Also, a huge shout out to Keith Anthony and Leroy Phillips who organized everything,” said Kendra Hindel of Country Crossroads Education of Yesterday.
Plans are underway for next year’s show in September.
