Dresden’s Village Vintage Market brought hundreds of people to Main Street for shopping, music, and food in this first annual fall event.
“About a year ago I had a dream of creating an event that people would fill up Main Street in Dresden. Born out of that dream was Dresden’s Village Vintage Market,” stated Christy Laffin, owner of Cotton and Pine Market.
30 vendors lined the 500 and 600 blocks of Main Street and shops including Cotton and Pine Market, Humble Heart, Stacy’s Baskets, Smore Baskets, Dresden’s Baskets and More, Sage Redesign, D&Co Merchantile on Main, The Patio Shops and Smore Christmas were all open during the event.
Live music entertained visitors throughout the entire day beginning with Barefoot McCoy in the morning, the Dresden United Methodist Church Praise Band early in the afternoon, and Micah Kesselring later in the day.
Plans are already in the works for next year’s event.
