You would be hard-pressed to find a more unique fall event for the family than the Country Crossroads Education of Yesterday Farm Show which took place on Saturday, October 15, and Sunday, October 16 at 3685 Cass Irish Ridge Road in Dresden.
What sets the Farm Show apart from other local fall events are all of the demonstrations and the numerous ways kids are engaged throughout their time at the show. Kids were able to ride on two trains, one of which runs along tracks that circle Captain Bryant’s Grist Mill. The Construction Zone was another popular interactive area where kids can operate real diggers with the guidance and supervision of volunteers. Other types of large construction machinery were being operated in this area throughout the day for attendees to watch. Various demonstrations were always taking place and there were several tractors and other equipment being driven around the site throughout the event. Everywhere you turned there was something to see!
Although the event is always great for families, there was also quite a bit there for the adults who attended as well. Besides loads of machinery and tractors lining the property, there was also live music, food vendors, and a meal and band after dark on Saturday.
The 19th Annual Country Crossroads Education of Yesterday Farm Show will take place the third weekend in October 2023.
