Oktoberfest Planned for October 22 in Dresden

Dresden’s Oktoberfest returns to Main Street Saturday, October 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and it sounds like it is going to be the best one yet!

This year’s schedule includes an opportunity to build a special Oktoberfest orange and black basket from 10:00-4:00 at the D&Co Workshop ($46 per person). Registration for weaving will be at the D&Co Welcome Center, 416 Main Street. Musical entertainment includes the Dresden UMC Praise Band (12:00-1:30), a DJ (1:30-3), Howie Campbell (3:00-6:00), and Stix and Stones (6:00 – 9:00). A beer garden will be open from noon to 9:00, pumpkin carving and decorating is from 1:00 – 3:00, and a Chili Cookoff is planned for 3:00-4:00.

Cotton and Pine Market, Humble Heart, Stacey’s Baskets, Smore Baskets, Dresden’s Baskets and More, Sage Redesign, D&Co Merchantile on Main, The Patio Shops, and Smore Christmas will be open at least until 6 (please check with each store for their hours).

Food vendors Smoke Therapy BBQ, and Krooked Kitchen will be on site.
