This year’s Oktoberfest in Dresden was unlike any from years past. Due to great weather, the event was able to be held outside this year with a block party-style format which included food trucks, vendors, and live music throughout the day. Pumpkin carving/decorating and a chili cookoff added to the fun. Joann Kuhns won first place in the cookoff and Greg Morrison’s chili earned second place.
Weavers worked with attendees in the Dresden & Company Workshop to build their own Oktoberfest black and orange baskets as a special keepsake to take home.
