Brandon Hess to Serve on the Zane State College Foundation Board

Brandon Hess, a Trustee for Zane State College from 2019-2022, is joining the Zane State College Foundation Board of Directors. “It was an honor to serve as a Trustee, and I look forward to continuing my service at Zane State College on the Foundation Board. I am committed to serving the community, and the Foundation Board allows me to connect with students and community members throughout our region. The student support provided by the Foundation aligns perfectly with my desire to assist the current and future generations of learners,” Hess said. No stranger to this role, Hess previously served as a Foundation Director for 13 years serving in both the Vice Chair and Chair roles.

Hess is a third-generation family member of the Mattingly Family Companies in Zanesville, Ohio. From 2011 – 2014, he served as President of the Mattingly Foods division in Louisville, Kentucky. During this time, his team grew sales from $16 million to over $32 million in three years. In 2015, Hess extended his passion for real estate by joining the Shai Commercial Real Estate Team in Granville, Ohio. In September 2018, Hess became a partner of Shai-Hess Commercial Real Estate, LLC. He continues to serve as Executive Vice President of Mattingly Enterprises, LLC.

His other affiliations and leadership roles include being a Board Member of The Community Bank, past President for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Licking County, past Chair of the Licking County Chamber of Commerce, Board Member for Salvation Army, member of Licking Memorial Hospital Development Council, President of the East Central Ohio Business Park in Frazeysburg, President of the Newark Catholic Green Wave Booster Club, and Board Member of Grow Licking County.

He resides in Newark, Ohio, with his wife, Jennifer, and two children, Anabelle and Michael.
