The Tri-Valley swim team wrapped up their season this week with the State Meet at the C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton, Ohio. A.J. Lawler qualified 27th in the 100 Yard Backstroke and finished 23rd.
The boy’s team for the season was MVL Runners-up with a third-place landing at the SEOSL Championship. Aside from his performance in the State meet, A.J. Lawler set two new school records this season. Lawler set the school record for the Boys 200 M IM with a time of 2:22.78 and the Boys 100 M Backstroke with a time of 1:03.62.
The girl’s team for the season won the MVL Championship and the SEOSL Championship titles. Along with the titles the girls had two individual DI qualifiers and three relay team qualifiers for this year. The team will be wrapping up with a banquet to celebrate on March 1st
