Dresden’s annual Park Clean-Up day originally scheduled for mid-March, has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 15. Like in years past, members of the Friends of the Dresden Parks and community volunteers will be meeting at 9:00 am at the 9th Street park (next to the library) before dividing into groups that will take care of weeding, pruning, and mulching additional Main Street park spaces including the Dave Longaberger Memorial Park located on the corner of 6th and Main and the mulch area around the World’s Largest Basket (corner of Main and 4th). Trees along Main Street will also be re-mulched. Volunteers are needed and may bring gloves, and a rake, shovel and/or hoe to use during the clean-up.
