Since first opening in 2015, Kayela’s On Main, now Kayela’s On Main Salon + Spa has grown from a two-booth salon to employing ten stylists/technicians and recently adding an expansion to their building located at 715 Main Street in Dresden. With the new expansion, the salon is now able to offer a wider range of services at one location.
“Being from a small town (Dresden), I wanted to be able to offer a variety of services in the cosmetic industry right here locally for our community. After hearing there was a lot of interest in spa services in our community, I knew right then, I wanted to expand. The community support has been amazing with my hair & nail salon, so I had no doubt they would support a spa. We got extremely lucky having a small town that loves and supports our business. That is what continues our success. I couldn’t imagine operating a business anywhere else,” explained owner Kayela Smith.
The same scope of hair and nail services are still being offered at Kayela’s On Main Salon + Spa such as haircuts, hair color, highlights, perms, updos, facial waxing, manicures & pedicures plus a new variety of additional offerings which are done by a nurse practitioner including massage, facials, lash extensions, microblading, derma planing, waxing and medical aesthetic procedures such as Botox, fillers, B12 injections, sculpting & much more.

In the future Smith hopes to add additional offerings to her menu to make it convenient for the community so they don’t have to travel long distances to get specific salon or spa services.
