They’re back! The Warehouse Restaurant in Dresden, located at 18 East 9th Street, has reopened after temporarily closing its doors a little over two months ago.
The restaurant announced its temporary closure back in January 2023 through a video message on Facebook. “What we have to do is reevaluate, reassess, reenergize, and reemploy people that will work in our kitchen”, stated the restaurant owner John Larson. That is exactly what The Warehouse Restaurant has done. With three new kitchen people added to their existing staff, the restaurant now has the help it needed to remain open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Additionally, other changes have taken place during their time away including refreshing the interior and exterior of the restaurant with updates that include fresh paint and stain, new outdoor lighting, patio improvements, and new upholstery for the booths. Larson also took a look at his menu and made a few adjustments that brought back some classic favorites while still keeping many of the standout menu items The Warehouse is known for such as their iconic onion rings and delicious Angus burgers. A couple of new entrees that can now be found on the menu are a BBQ Plater and Lemon Pepper Chicken Breast. Also added is a White Fish Reuben sandwich and a Steak n’ Stein favorite, the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich.
This summer The Warehouse Restaurant plans to utilize its large covered patio to host a medley of musical acts and entertainment.
On April 4, 2023, The Warehouse Restaurant celebrated its six-year anniversary in Dresden with the reopening of the restaurant.
Larson is excited about his restaurant’s future in Dresden. “We’re happy to reopen and to serve the community! We hope that they will return and enjoy the atmosphere the great food and the great service.”
