Every year the Zanesville Museum of Art (ZMA) plays host to the annual Muskingum County K-12 Student Art Exhibition. This year the display is running from April-23 – May-13. The display is to recognize student artwork from Muskingum County including students from public and private schools as well as home-school students, and local art education organizations.
This year, ZMA gave out ten Avant-Garde awards to county students including two Dresden Elementary students. With help from their art Teach Miss Delancey several students from Tri-Valley Elementary schools submitted their artwork to the show. Mez Bailey a third grader from Dresden Elementary and Landon Patton a second grader from Dresden both got the honor of receiving the award from Zanesville Mayor Don Mason and ZMA director Laine Snyder.
The show is in the great gallery on the second floor of the museum. Be sure to stop in and see it this week.
