Massive Swim Meet Returns to Dresden

The Tri-County Aquatic League Championship (TCAL) Meet is being held at the Dresden Dorados home pool, the Dresden Swim Center on July 18 (rain date, Wednesday, July 19). Dresden’s Olympic-sized swimming pool has hosted the past couple TCAL Championships since the Dorados were first formed in 2021.

The TCAL is a recreational youth summer league that has 11 other member teams besides the Dorados including the Baltimore Sea Lions, Canal Winchester Dolphins, Chevington Woods, Granville Stingrays, Groveport Fighting Fish, Huntington Hills Froggers, Johnstown Jaguars, Moundbuilders CC Piranhas, Pataskala Porpoises, Pickerington Tiger Sharks, and Valley View Gators. This means there will be over 1,000 swimmers and an estimated 2,000 plus spectators at the Dresden Swim Center for the all-day meet.

The TCAL Championships will take place in two parts, a morning group of swimmers ages 11 and over hit the pool at 7:45 a.m., and ages 10 and under enter the water at 3:00 p.m.
