A new floral boutique offering silk and fresh floral wreaths and arrangements as well as handmade gifts opened the end of last month in Frazeysburg. Loving Creations Florals is located at 32 East 3rd Street, side entrance towards the rear of The Burg Nutrition building across from Dairy Queen.
Besides offering stunning floral arrangements for all occasions including bouquets, sprays, corsages, boutonnières and wreaths, the shop boasts a nice combination of other gifts both made by shop owner Amber Hartrum and various other small businesses giving them an opportunity to showcase their creations and grow their own businesses. Everything from tumblers, to soaps, jewelry, shirts, cutting boards and car scents are among the types of locally made items available for purchase.
Hartrum had a passion for floral design since she was a young girl. “Ever since I was little I always liked designing, going out and picking flowers for my mom and just putting them in vases and doing things with them and then in 2007, I lost both my parents and after that time I needed something to keep me busy, so I starred making wreaths and doing different crafts and hobbies and started going to shows and vendor events,” explained Hartrum. From there her business grew and flourished allowing her to open her new store front and offer classes for floral arrangement.
Loving Creations Florals’ classes and workshops are held at Killing Tree Winery and Rust Decor. Private classes are also available. These classes are great for a group of people, business building events, holiday parties, etc.
Looking to the future, Hartrum would like to continue to grow by expanding into a larger retail space, adding employees, and by donating to local events.
