On Thursday evening, members of the Tri-Valley FFA chapter visited the Middleton Assisted Living facility in Granville, Ohio to speak with James Bascom, a 92-year-old patient whose father was an Agriculture Instructor in the 1920s Mr. Bascom was a member of the Navy and a long time poultry farmer in Licking County. The students and Mr. Bascom had a great talk about Agriculture; including Mr. Bascom’s family history and what each student is currently working on at their family farms. The Tri-Valley FFA even awarded Mr. Bascom an honorary membership in the Tri-Valley FFA chapter.
