As part of the second phase of a multi-tiered 2023/2024 expansion, the Dresden Buzz has opened a dedicated office location that is open to the public four days a week.
The Buzz’s new home is located at 700 Main Street. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Thursday, Saturday and Sunday the office will be closed.
“It was important for us to set aside time on a regular basis to be available for anyone wanting to speak to us, drop off information, grab a back issue, or place an ad. We felt so disconnected before, since the old office was only open by appointment and set up for our marketing and design business. Mixing the two in one space has been becoming difficult as the Buzz and Dotson Design Studio continue to grow,” stated owner, Lynette Dotson.
This change is one of many recent adjustments as the newspaper just made the switch to newsprint in July, doubled the content in each issue, and as of last issue tripled in circulation. “The largest change of course has been expanding to cover Muskingum County. The response has been great and we look forward to what the future holds for our free local paper,” said Dotson.
