Lady Dawgs Soccer Lock in A Four Game Winning Streak By Taking Down New Philadelphia

The Tri-Valley girls varsity soccer team is on quite the roll with not only a four-game winning streak but four straight shutouts.

The shutouts started back on September 7th, when they took down Maysville with a score of 9 – 0. On Monday, September 11th the girls face the Heath Bulldogs and handily shut them out with a score of 6 – 0. Moving on to September 14th, when they played the Lady Electrics from Philo and beat them 4 – 0.

On Monday, September 18th, the Scotties continued the drive as they faced the Lady Quakers from New Philadelphia.

The first half of the game Tri-Valley went right to work, popping in the first goal by Maddie Garber, followed by a goal by teammate Ella Knowlton before the halftime intermission.

After the half the Lady Dawgs held the Quakers at a scoreless level as they quickly added a third point to their lead with a goal by Lexi Sims off of a Nevaeh Peffers assist to lock in the final score of 3 – 0.

Mackenzie Harvey got the shutout in the goal for all four games and had 11 saves between the matchups.
