Maysville looks for another win against Philo Electrics after taking down Black Bears

Maysville vs Sheridan (10/06/23)

The Panthers traveled to the home field of the undefeated Generals for what would prove to be a difficult game to say the least.

Right from the start Sheridan had the Panthers on the ropes as they pushed two touchdowns through in the first quarter of the game, taking a 14 – 0 lead.

As the heat increased in the second quarter of play for Maysville, the Generals continued to control the game with four more touchdowns before halftime to send the Panthers into the locker rooms down 41 – 0.

After the half Sheridan took the final blow as they put out one more touchdown to end scoring for the game that was on a running clock at that point. Overall the Generals kept their undefeated record and walked away with another conference win.

Maysville vs River View (10/13/23)

On Friday, the 13th, the River View Black Bears made their way to Maysville with one of the worst records of teams the Panthers had faced all year.

This time it was Maysville’s turn to dominate the game with three touchdowns in the first quarter taking a very quick 21 – 0 lead.

The second quarter of play was even faster paced as the Panthers put up another four touchdowns to take a 49 – 0 lead into halftime against the Black Bears.

With a running clock working against them Maysville was still able to tack on one more touchdown after the half to push their lead to 56 – 0 and shutout River View for a victory.

The Panthers move on to face Philo in Duncan Falls, on Friday, October 20th. Gametime is set for 7pm.
