Two amazing events are lined up for Saturday, November 18 in Dresden.
Dresden’s annual Ladies Night Out is described as “an unforgettable evening of holiday shopping, delicious food, and music.” There is a full list of activities planned for the evening including a chocolate walk, charcuterie board demonstrations (5 p.m. & 7 p.m.), shopping, a hot chocolate bar, crafts, a Prize Pallooza Chance Auction, a Jolly Trolly ride, caricature artist drawings, smores by the fire, walking bingo, and a best-dressed contest. The festivities kick off at 4 p.m. and the evening wraps up around 9 p.m.
“(It’s about) Building a strong community and providing an experience that allows women an opportunity to spend fun, quality time together in the comfort of their hometown while supporting neighboring areas as well,” said one of the event coordinators, Tara Watts.
Registration is being taken by phone at 740-575-2769, or by stopping in Beauty By Design Floral Boutique and The Dresden Brew Coffee Cafe leading up to the event. Registration is $10.00 and includes an event-branded swag bag that can be picked up during Ladies Night at the registration station that will be set up at Lepi and Associates at the beginning of the event. Swag bags, T-shirts, and hoodies can also be purchased separately.
Participating businesses include Dresden & Company, S’more Baskets, S’more Christmas, Lepi & Associates, Beauty by Design Floral Boutique, Dari Twist, Humble Heart, Sage ReDesign, Creative Gatherings, Kinney Art & Decor, Welcome Home Studio, and Kayela’s on Main. There will also be additional shopping options available through local vendors that will be set up just for the evening.
Ladies Night Out is hosted by the Dresden Community Association and sponsored by Smore Baskets, The Warehouse Restaurant, Lepi & Associates, and The Patio Shops.

The second Union Square Art Show will run from 1 to 7 p.m. at 701 Chestnut Street, in Dresden. The show features artwork of varying mediums created by local artists. A reception is planned at 4 p.m. The shops at Union Square will also be open during the show. The last day to enter artwork into the show will be November 14.
