Volleyball squad for Muskingum University hosted John Carroll for senior day match

As the regular season ends the Fighting Muskies faced some challenging teams on their way to the senior day home matchup against John Carroll University.

Muskingum vs Ohio Northern (10/20)

Muskingum headed to Ada, Ohio were they played Ohio Northern on Friday. They had three very close sets with the final score being (ONU 25 – MU 22, ONU 25 – MU 22, ONU 25 – MU 15).

Senior Khloe Taylor spiked nine kills, had eight digs, on 1 block. Sophomore Emma Johnson picked up eight kills. Freshman Mackenzie Krous helped out with seven kills. Senior Raegan Flood had seven kills. Sophomore Chloe Burton had 17 assists, Freshman Alexis Bradley had 10 assists, Freshman Katharine Clayton led the Muskies with 13 digs and 4 assists.

Muskingum vs Wilmington (10/25)

On the road again this time to Wilmington, the Fighting Muskies brought a broom as the swept up the Quakers with a final score of (MU 25 – W 21, MU 25 – W 15, MU 25 – W 13).

Freshman Mackenzie Krous had 11 kills, 9 digs, and 2 blocks. Sophomore Emma Johnson had 6 kill, while classmate Josie Niemeyer spiked 5 kills, 5 digs, and 1 block. Senior Khloe Taylor had 3 kills and 9 digs. Sophomore Chloe Burton had 16 assists, nine digs, and 1 block. Senior Raegan Flood had 2 blocks. Senior Hannah Gove had 4 kills.

Muskingum vs John Carroll (10/28)

Back at home for senior day the Muskies fell to John Carroll in a tough sweep with the final score (JCU 25 – MU 15, JCU 25 – MU 17, JCU 25 – MU 19)

The seniors recognized for the game were Khloe Taylor, Raegan Flood, and Hannah Gove. Senior Khoe Taylor had a game high 12 kills and 9 digs. Senior Raegan Flood had 3 kills, and 2 blocks. Senior Hannah Gove had 1 block. Freshman Mackenzie Krous had 7 kills, and 6 digs. Sophomore Chloe Burton had 20 points and 9 digs. Freshman Katharine Clayton led the Muskies with 18 digs.
