On Tuesday, December 19th, at the Sunrise Bowling Center in Zanesville, the Tri-Valley Varsity boys fell to Sheridan and Zanesville 1919-2093-2190. Boys were led by Wade Hockenberry 202(378) and Connor Preston 190(375)
The Scottie Girls varsity also fell to Sheridan and Zanesville 1307-1363-1600. Girls were led by Hayleigh Davis shooting a 140 and Lily Untied 180(338).
JV boys fell in a close match to Sheridan 1476-1487 and were led by Colton Devoll 175(325) both new personal bests! And Marshall Knicely 165(314) also personal bests on the year!
JV girls were not in action but had members from their team compete on varsity as well for the night.
“The teams all continue to improve and find themselves in close matches, only a matter of time before they are on the opposite side of the close matches!! The fan base support is awesome! And I’ve had many compliments on our following and how well our group is doing in just year number 1!!!” stated coach Ben Kight.
The next match for the Scotties will take place at Village Lanes against Lakewood Local Schools on Friday, December 29th. The Tri-Valley team will also be taking part in a quad-match on January 4th, at Park Lanes.
