Women of Achievement Accepting Nominations

submitted

The deadline is quickly approaching to nominate outstanding women in the Muskingum County community for the 36th Annual Women of Achievement (WOA) program. Nominations for the 2024 WOA will be accepted until 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 7. All nominations must be submitted electronically.
Recipients will be honored during a banquet on Wednesday, April 24. Tickets for this event, as well as sponsorship opportunities, are now available.

The achievement awards are designed to honor women in the community for their contributions to education, volunteer work, managerial work, or in their professional roles. A panel of judges will review the information submitted by the nominator and assess if the nominee meets the criteria for the awards. The panel of judges is made up of past recipients and community leaders.

In 1988, the Muskingum Family Y began the achievement program to recognize women in the community who succeed in various endeavors. The tribute increases community awareness, understanding, and appreciation of how women contribute to the economic and social health of the community. Since its inception, the program has recognized 250 women in the Muskingum County community.
Proceeds from the banquet provide local scholarships. For more information or to nominate a woman in the community, visit our website: https://muskingumwoanominations.com/
