Maysville vs New Lexington (3/28)
The Panthers tried to battle back from a 10 – 0 deficit against New Lexington on Thursday night, but the single run they scored in the bottom of the third inning didn’t save them from the hard-hitting opponents who left them reeling in 12 – 1 loss.
Maysville vs Crooksville (3/25)
On the road in Crooksville Monday, the Panthers took an early lead but the Ceramics were quick to tie the game at two. Maysville tacked on three more runs over the next two innings but the ceramics came back in the sixth inning to tie the game up yet again. Crooksville, however, was not able to recover from the Panther’s four-run seventh-inning rally that gave them the edge in the 9 – 5 victory.
Maysville vs West Muskingum (3/20)
The Panthers traveled to nearby West Muskingum High School on Wednesday to play the Tornadoes. West Muskingum got the early 1 – 0 lead and held on to it for a couple of innings before the Panthers lit up their bats and went to work tapping out all 11 runs in the fourth and fifth innings leaving the Tornadoes blown away in an 11 – 2 victory.
