John Glenn baseball pulled out two road wins and one at home

John Glenn vs Philo (4/29) 

The Electrics lit up the scoreboard in New Concord with a 3 – 0 lead after one inning against John Glenn on Monday.  After four innings the guests still had a 6 – 2 lead on the home team.  The Lil’ Muskies lit up their bats in the fifth and sixth innings grabbing three runs in each and locking in an 8 – 6 win over Philo.

John Glenn vs Garaway (4/27)

The Pirates made their way from Sugarcreek on Saturday to the town of New Concord where they were to face the Lil’ Muskies.  John Glenn hit the scoreboard first with a 2 – 0 lead after the first inning.  Garaway grabbed three runs in the top of the third, followed by John Glenn keeping their lead by adding two more runs in the bottom of the third for the 4 – 3 score.  The Muskies were not able to grab another run in the game and the Pirates pillaged as they tacked on another 11 runs to take a 14 – 4 win.

John Glenn vs Coshocton (4/26)

Back on the road to Coshocton to play the Redskins, John Glenn was looking for another win.  After two innings with no score, the Lil’ Muskies got their first break in the top of the third inning when Merry scored on a wild pitch to give them a 1 – 0 lead.  After six innings the Lil’ Muskies had a 3 – 1 lead over the Redskins followed by a blowout nine-run seventh inning for the Muskies that sealed the 12 – 1 victory.

John Glenn vs Crooksville (4/25) 

The Lil’ Muskies flew out to a 7 – 0 lead over Crooksville in just the second inning of the game on the road.  The Ceramics grabbed their only two runs of the game in the bottom of the third inning before falling to the Muskies 13 – 2 in just six and a half innings.

John Glenn vs Tri-Valley (4/24) 

The Lil’ Muskies hopped on a bus on Wednesday to head over the hills to Dresden where they met up with Tri-Valley at Kenny Wolford Park.  The Scotties got on the scoreboard first with two runs in the bottom of the second inning followed by two more in the bottom of the fifth to take a 4 – 0 lead.  John Glenn tried to climb back in the sixth and seventh innings but fell one run shy and lost the game 4 – 3.

John Glenn vs River View (4/23) 

When the Black Bears made the trip to New Concord on Tuesday the Lil’ Muskies were hoping to get a comeback win out of the game.  River View hit the gas from the word go and took a very fast 8 – 0 lead in the first inning of the game.  The teams went back and forth over the next several innings trading off one or two runs each but the Muskies just couldn’t recover from that first-inning rally and lost the game 13 – 7.

John Glenn vs River View (4/22) 

The Lil’ Muskies traveled to Warsaw on Monday to play the Black Bears and although both teams were tied at 1 in the first and second innings, River View came back with a three-run third inning to take the 4 – 1 lead.  The Muskies tried to come back in the top of the sixth inning but fell one run shy of tying up the game and lost 4 – 3 to the Black Bears.

John Glenn vs Heath (4/20)

The Heath Bulldogs blew into New Concord like a storm taking a 14 – 3 lead after just two innings.  Unable to get back on their feet, the Lil’ Muskies were kept scoreless for the rest of the game as Heath took two more seven-run innings with other runs spread throughout to walk away with a 24 – 3 win.
