West Muskingum vs New Lexington (4/29)
Still on the road on Monday, the Lady Tornadoes were hoping to get similar results in New Lexington when they played the Panthers. A pair of singles and a double led to the 4 – 0 lead the Tornadoes had by the end of the first inning. Adding on one more run in the third, two more runs in the fourth, and three more runs in the fifth innings West Muskingum built the team’s 10 – 0 win.
West Muskingum vs Meadowbrook (4/26)
The Lady Tornadoes took on the Lady Colts in Byesville, West M took a fast 3 – 0 lead by the middle of the second inning. The Tornadoes had swept up their total in runs by the top of the fourth inning taking a 7 – 0 win back home to West Muskingum.
West Muskingum vs Maysville (4/25)
The Panthers came to visit West Muskingum on Thursday. Both teams took to hitting as they locked in a 3 – 3 tied game by the end of the first inning, but the Tornadoes soon blew that open as they added runs in almost every other inning racking up a 13 – 3 victory over Maysville before sending them home.
West Muskingum vs Morgan (4/23)
Game two was on Morgan’s home field and the Lady Tornadoes were hoping for a better outcome. Morgan struck early but this time they took a 3 – 0 lead in the bottom of the second inning. The Tornadoes were having difficulty getting past the Raider’s defenses who had a 5 – 0 lead by the end of the fifth inning. West Muskingum landed two successful runs in the top of the sixth inning but the time had drawn to a close and West Muskingum lost game two 5 – 2.
West Muskingum vs Morgan (4/22)
In game one against Morgan, the Raiders traveled to West Muskingum to face the Tornadoes. Morgan had a huge first inning building a 12-run rally that would leave anyone reeling. West Muskingum was unable to answer back until the bottom of the second but by then the Raiders had a 14 – 1 lead. By the fifth inning, the game was cut short as Morgan took a 16 – 2 win.
West Muskingum vs Newcomerstown (4/20)
The Trojans came to Tornado Country on Saturday to play the Lady Tornadoes. They didn’t waste any time taking a 1 – 0 lead in the top of the first, but West Muskingum didn’t let it stand as they added two runs of their own in the bottom of the first inning. In the bottom of the second inning, the Lady Tornadoes added another five runs to take a 7 – 1 lead. Newcomerstown did their best to recover but they just couldn’t keep up with the Tornadoes as they took a 16 – 6 victory and sent the Trojans home empty-handed.
