Maysville vs Tri-Valley (4/29)
At Kenny Wolford Park in Dresden on Monday, the Lady Panthers were ready to face the Scotties, but Tri-Valley struck first and often as they took a 4 – 0 lead after three. The Lady Scotties just kept lighting up their bats as they took a 9 – 0 victory over the Panthers.
Maysville vs Zanesville (4/26)
The short drive downtown for the Panthers turned out to be a good trip for them as they arrived at Zanesville City Schools. The Lady Blue Devils were not ready for the Panthers as they took a quick 1 – 0 lead in the top of the first inning, followed by a blowout 13-run second inning including a slew of doubles. Zanesville was able to grab three runs by the bottom of the fourth inning, but it didn’t even make a dent as they fell to the Panthers by a massive 27 – 3.
Maysville vs West Muskingum (4/25)
Over the hill in nearby West Muskingum, the Lady Panthers were hoping to get back on the right track after two rough losses. Everything was starting well as they grabbed a short-lived 3 – 0 lead in the top of the first inning but the Tornadoes matched that score and came back to take a 6 – 3 lead by the end of the third inning. Maysville was not able to answer back and ultimately lost 13 – 3 to the Tornadoes.
Maysville vs Sheridan (4/24)
The Lady Generals came into Maysville ready to command a victory, and they did just that. Taking an 11 – 0 lead by the end of the second inning the girls from Sheridan were not leaving any room for doubt about how the game would end. The Lady General’s pitcher threw a shutout game as they finished with a 16 – 0 win over the Panthers.
Maysville vs Philo (4/23)
On the road to Duncan Falls Tuesday, the Maysville girls were going to their neighboring rivals for a chance at bettering their record. Philo again took an early lead with a 12 – 2 lead by the bottom of the fourth inning. Maysville was able to grab two more runs but fell short of a comeback as they lost the game 14 – 4.
Maysville vs Philo (4/22)
The Lady Electrics made the trip over to Maysville on Monday to battle the Panthers. Philo took a 4 – 2 lead by the end of the second inning. Both teams were tied at six at the end of the fifth inning when Philo came back to tack on eight more runs over the next to innings to take a 14 – 6 victory.
